Los Angeles experienced widespread festivities after the Dodgers won a nail-biting seven-match World Series title. Supporters across the globe joined local residents in celebration, marking the initial time in a quarter-century that a franchise has achieved consecutive championships.
Victory Parade Draws Enormous Turnout
Los Angeles area celebrations included a procession through the city center on the morning of the parade, a ticketed rally at Dodger Stadium, and spontaneous parties across the city.
Social media videos depict countless of Angelenos packing city center avenues, many carrying handmade banners and Dodger flags. The team was seen traveling proudly on a double-decker bus through the masses, hoisting the Commissioner’s trophy proudly.
“My focus is already about the third time we’re going to do this,” the star player remarked through an interpreter.
The parade route concluded at Dodger Stadium, where the players walked out to the rapper’s “Not Like Us,” with DJ Mustard spinning music and Ice Cube driving a light blue vintage Cadillac around the stadium’s outfield.

Festivities started well before the procession, with Dodgers fans setting off fireworks in the roads of the city center on Sunday night.
The World Series MVP, awarded the World Series’ Most Valuable Player, commented directly about the win.

Mixed Reactions and Community Spirit
However, Mark Walter received a cooler reception at the celebration. Recordings from the gathering appear to show Walter taking the stage to a combination of cheers and boos, with jeers punctuating his speech.
