Fresh particulars have surfaced concerning the untimely passing of renowned director Rob Reiner and visual artist Michele Singer Reiner, whose bodies were located at their Brentwood, Los Angeles home on Sunday.

A Discovery

As detailed in an account quoting a person close to the family, a massage therapist scheduled for an appointment first raised the alarm after failing to get inside the house. The therapist then got in touch with the couple's daughter, Romy Reiner, who resides close by.

After gaining access to the residence, Romy came upon her father's body. Reports state she then fled the house in anguish, not realizing at that moment that her mother's body was also present. A companion who had gone with her promptly called 911. Following this, emergency responders found Michele Singer Reiner's body.

Criminal Developments

Law enforcement have formally accused the couple's 32-year-old son, Nick Reiner, with two counts of first-degree murder, as well as the use of a dangerous weapon, reportedly a knife. He is currently being held and is ineligible for bail.
