The Popular Show Campaign 4 Reveals the Warriors Party

Ever since the premiere of the fourth campaign, recently appointed game master the talented storyteller has kept viewers on edge with deep backstory, a colorful mix of heroes, and a thrilling plot showcasing divine entities, evil spirits, and dark forces increasing in influence within Dol-Makjar.

Heads-up: Key plot points for the third episode of Campaign 4 are included.

The Combat-Oriented Party Introduced

Episode 3 concluded with a major cliffhanger and introduced the initial group of heroes who will split off from the primary party to embark on their separate journey, apart from the remaining groups.

The Soldiers table features Teor Pridesire (portrayed by Travis Willingham), Thimble (Laura Bailey), the strong-willed figure (Whitney Moore), the cleric (the player), and the mysterious adventurer (the actor).

The Reason for Division

Considering a large ensemble, it was evident from the start that maintaining everyone at one table would be unfeasible.

Hence, the first four episodes of this story serve as an Introduction, intertwining the individual narratives before splitting into three distinct groups: Soldiers, Strategists, and Questers.

What Defines the Warrior Group

According to Brennan Lee Mulligan, the Soldiers table is for adventurers who are drawn to a typically action-packed combat and conflict-driven narrative style where non-violent answers are rare.

Upon first impression, characters like the hesitant healer Wicander Halovar might look unsuited, but the developments of episode 3 make it clear why these five characters are perfectly fit for the combat party.

Reasons to Leave

For one thing, the party has a clear idea where to go next after a violent opening clash with The Crow Keepers.

A former ally of the deceased character—whose death started the story’s plot—manipulated the foes for his selfish purposes, breaking into the secret base, attacking Thimble, and swiping all the magical artifacts to dispose of.

The traitor then paid off his debts and escaped to a fortified location in the northern region, above the city, with Cyd pursuing him.

Individual Reasons

Secondly, each adventurer has a individual motive to exit the metropolitan area:

  • The agile hero, as Thjazi’s partner and closest confidant, desires revenge.
  • Kattigan is familiar with Timmony and cautions that it is a dangerous environment.
  • The warrior and The healer, having resisted his house’s orders to kill the fighter and instead rescued him, have no other options.
  • However, their position as important members in House Halovar could enable the team access places they normally couldn’t.
  • Additionally, The grateful character vowed a unbreakable promise to The cleric for his salvation and will now go with him everywhere.

Fugitives

In addition, all of them are hunted by the powers that control the setting for a multiple motives, making remaining behind dangerous:

  • The rogue and Kattigan are recognized lawbreakers.
  • The strong figure and The healer turned against the influential house and the army of fiends they are allied with.
  • The target is wanted dead by the family.

This means them few options but to journey toward the northern region in pursuit of the antagonist.

What’s Next?

From episode three’s follow-up content, we learn that the Soldiers table will not appear in the upcoming installment, leaving the remaining eight players to round up the Explorers and Schemers groups.

Fans can expect learning which players will be assigned to which table in Campaign 4’s last Overture episode, released on next week.
